About DeleteX
A careful way to clean up your X account.
DeleteX is an independent web tool for deleting X/Twitter posts, replies, reposts, likes, and DMs in bulk. It exists because bulk deletion is permanent, and permanent actions deserve previews, exact counts, and explicit confirmation - not one-click surprises.
Official API only
DeleteX works through X's official API under X's Developer Agreement. Deletion is as permanent as deleting on X itself - which is why the workflow is deliberately careful.
Transparent activity
Every confirmed run is logged with the filters used and the deleted and failed counts, so you always know what happened to your account.
How your data is handled
- Your X access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are stored, and are never written to logs.
- DeleteX stores only the IDs and metadata needed to process a cleanup run - not your tweet content. Preview samples are deleted as soon as a run finishes.
- Connection happens through X OAuth. DeleteX never sees or asks for your X password, and you can revoke access from your X settings at any time.
- Deleting your DeleteX account removes your data and revokes the stored X token, in line with GDPR and CCPA expectations.

DeleteX is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. It is built for use under a standard X developer account and X's Developer Agreement, and it respects X's API rate limits by pacing large cleanup runs.
