Privacy Policy

This policy explains how DeleteX handles data for people who use the product to preview, delete, unlike, schedule, and audit cleanup actions for their X account.

What DeleteX Collects

When you sign in with X, DeleteX receives the account information needed to identify your account, such as your X user ID, handle, display name, avatar, follower count, and estimated post count.

DeleteX stores OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens so it can perform actions you request. Tokens are encrypted before they are stored and are only decrypted inside backend functions.

When you create a cleanup preview or run, DeleteX stores the cleanup target, filters, matched item IDs, counts, status, timestamps, and short preview samples needed to show you what will be deleted.

If you upload an X archive, DeleteX parses tweet IDs and metadata needed for deletion eligibility. The product is designed not to retain tweet content beyond the temporary preview data needed for the cleanup workflow.

If you subscribe to Premium, billing is handled by Stripe. DeleteX stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, not full payment card details.

If you add a notification email, DeleteX uses it for scheduled cleanup summaries and account-related notices.

How DeleteX Uses Data

DeleteX uses your data to authenticate your account, show cleanup previews, execute confirmed deletions or unlikes, manage scheduled cleanups, enforce plan limits, provide activity logs, process billing, and send requested notifications.

DeleteX does not sell your personal data. DeleteX is not affiliated with X Corp.

Bulk deletion is irreversible. DeleteX uses previews, counts, and explicit confirmation steps so you can review cleanup actions before they run.

Storage And Security

DeleteX uses Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and backend functions. Row Level Security is used so signed-in users can access only their own account data.

X tokens are encrypted at rest. Service-role access is restricted to backend functions that need to perform account cleanup operations.

Preview item text is temporary and is removed after a cleanup run completes.

Service Providers

DeleteX relies on service providers to operate the product, including Supabase for backend infrastructure, Stripe for billing, Resend for email delivery, and hosting infrastructure for the web app.

These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to DeleteX.

Your Choices

You can revoke DeleteX access from your X account settings at any time.

You can delete your DeleteX account from Settings. Account deletion removes your DeleteX profile, encrypted tokens, activity logs, schedules, and uploaded archive records from DeleteX systems.

Deleting your DeleteX account does not undo content deletion already performed on X.

You can contact DeleteX at contact@deletex.io for privacy questions or account requests.

Changes

DeleteX may update this policy as the product, legal requirements, or service providers change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

This page is a product-specific launch draft and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before production launch.
